I’m back home after my epic tour now, my cold is all better and I am finishing off the first draft of SUMMER’S DREAM, the third in the CHOCOLATE BOX GIRL series which will be out in JULY 2012.
While I was away, I managed to finish the judging for the last writing comp and the RESULTS are now up online… take a look and let me know what you think of the winning extracts! I think they are AWESOME. Wow cathy just a few quick questions right first I want to know if you’ve met Jacqueline Wilson or chris Higgins cause I love them both but not as much as you secondly my school might put on a play of ………DIZZY!!!! and I am starring in it as …… DIZZY yay!!!!!! Our rival schools are doing scarlett and lucky star so maybe you mite come to ours hint hint…… Love peace and chocolate dizzy

In September, you came to Ireland to the Monsters to Sea Book Lunch. I went there too! I wasn’t at your table on the day (unfortunately)but I went up to you after lunch and asked for your autograph. I was over the moon when you did with your gorgeous gold pen. I also asked you for an autograph for my friend and you said that your daughter has the same name as her (Caitlin)!

Heey Cathy! Just finished Marshmallow Skye & it waas brilliant! I loved the whole Skye/Finch story and I can’t wait for Summer’s Dream ! I lovee the whole chocolate box girl series and you are a brilliant author!

Im sad! I dont think there’s been any near Burnley (thats where I live).. soo i’ve not been to any of them. Hopefully soon, though.
