COOL CHRISTMAS!!!

Well it’s cool all right – positively arctic, in fact. Here in Scotland we’ve had hurricanes, floods, blizzards, hail, sleet, even thunder and lightning! I don’t care, because it’s almost Christmas and that’s my FAVOURITE time of year. Over on the Secret Superfan Page you’ll find reader’s tips on fab make-it-yourself Christmas prezzies, as well as a picture challenge that could win you a signed CC book… take a look! If you still don’t have the password, sign up for the free online newsletter because there’s a clue in every issue!

I’m working like mad to finish off the second draft of Summer’s Dream. The publication date has been brought forward a whole month, so it will now be out in JUNE 2012! I’ve even seen a cover rough, and hopefully I’ll be able to give you a sneak peek at that soon! In the New Year I’ll be writing a 4th Daizy Star book, and then settling down to begin the 4th Chocolate Box Girl story, Coco Caramel… it’s going to be a busy year!

Right now though, I am wrapping prezzies and hanging fairy lights and perfecting my mince pies… mmmm! I can’t wait for the snow to start falling, for everyone to be home for Christmas, because that’s when the fun really begins. What do YOU like best about Christmas? And which books are you hoping for in your Christmas stocking?

  3. hey Cathy! Sounds good. What’s Honey’s book going to be called if Coco’s is called Coco Caramel? They have pretty cool names! Marshmallow Skye (mmm yum! love it when they melt in hot chocolate…..!!!!!!!) Cherry Crush! Really cool and catchy names!! 🙂 I’m writing my own trilogy called Secrets. The first book’s called Secrets, the second’s called Uncovered and the third one’s called Hunted. I have just about finished the second (woop!) just a few adjustments to make and to finish the last chapter. Any advice on getting it published once I’ve finished the third!? Love your books! keep writing!!!!!! 🙂

From Ruth xxx PS I was the one who suggested (a while ago) you should create a magazine with all teen authors in it! Remember? Have you had any more thought on it? PLease Reply! 🙂 xxx

  5. Kinda creepy… yesterday I was tangled in fairy light – trying to decorate my room, meanwhile mom was making cookies (not mince pies!) and my big sis was wrapping her presents for dad! I loved Marshmallow Skye when my mom brought me a copy from England and I can’t wait for Summer’s Dream and Sweat Honey? Also Coco’s book!

  6. Hi Cathy!
I cannot WAIT for Christmas and I especially loved it in Marshmallow Skye when you described all the sisters’ presents, all different for their unique tastes! Unfortunately there won’t be a big crowd of sisters at my house, just me and my wee brother arguing over some chocolate truffles. Looking forward to it anyway, though!
Hope Santa’s good to you 🙂 So excited for Coco Caramel…

  9. Hi Cathy!! I’ve already got all your books so what I’m hoping to get for christmas is Bubble Gum lip scrub. Lip scrubs are edible lip balms which you can lick off! Theres even a chocolate flavour-how cool is that? My fav part of Christmas is probally choosing presents for my parents (as well as wrapping them)!

  10. Hello Cathy, I have only read one of your books (Cherry crush) and compleatly fell in love with it! Compared to some of these coments you have got where people have read most of the books that have come out you wil be able that I have not read all of our books. I could go on writing all night about ow much I love your books and hope you create ots more and how I would love to become a super fan, but I won’t. I will say that I have recentl enteredour newsletter thing and hope to find out some interesting news and read more books. I would like to be like Summer but even though I don’t like to admit it I think Iam most like Honey. I don’t think I would do ver well if I moved in with the Tanberry’s because I would have to take my dog and she dosn’t lie other dogs.
    Love From

P.S. From your description I think Shay Fletcher is soooo cute!
