Sundae Girl

Will shy girl Jude ever share her secrets?

‘Don’t get me wrong, I love my family – but mum is forty-four going on fourteen . . .’

Jude’s family are crazy, quirky, bizarre . . . her mum brings her plenty of problems and her dad thinks he’s Elvis! All she wants is a hassle-free life – but it’s not easy when she’s chasing her mum’s trail of broken promises.

Nothing seems to go Jude’s way, until she realizes the floppy-haired boy from school could be her knight on shining rollerblades. And that sometimes, when everything turns sour, only something sweet can make it ok . . .

  5. This book was soo amazing!
I loved reading the part when Kevin Carter went to Jude’s house when she was in Glasgow and found out Molly was in the hospital! Also that he went all the way to Giovanni’s italian resturaunt and told him to go to Glasgow! Kevin sounds so sweet! Even though the ending is sad because Molly dies, I do think the ending part was the best part of all the story!!

  10. I love sundae girl . Cathy really gets into a mind of an 11 year old. She must hate it when she gets compared to jaqueline wilson. I love the way jude calls the boy carter and how kristina hides her secret of her blittle brother alex. If you havent got this book, rent it for a libery or get it straight away it will be worth it. Iv nearly got all the cathy cassidy books iv been sarching on ebay, amozen and wh smiths!I love dizzy, lucky star, sundae girl and proberly will like ginger snaps, drift wood and scarlet
