‘Don’t get me wrong, I love my family – but mum is forty-four going on fourteen . . .’
Jude’s family are crazy, quirky, bizarre . . . her mum brings her plenty of problems and her dad thinks he’s Elvis! All she wants is a hassle-free life – but it’s not easy when she’s chasing her mum’s trail of broken promises.
Nothing seems to go Jude’s way, until she realizes the floppy-haired boy from school could be her knight on shining rollerblades. And that sometimes, when everything turns sour, only something sweet can make it ok . . .

Hi cathy!
This book is so good, i couldn’t put it down. My fave character was Carter. He sounds just as lovely as my bf. Love your books, read every one. xox Effie xox
I love this book! I think its one of the best Cathy Cassidy books and once I started to read it, I could not put it down….. and …..yea!
This book is really cool i loved it. it is funny when she talks about her gran getting lost in tesco and then her dad come to parents evening dressed as elvis. HAHAHA. but it is sad at the end though when her gran… I loved it
I really love this book it has to be my favourite one that she has written because i love the story line, and i love the relationship between Jude and Carter. One of the bewst books i have read.
Amazing
I love this book, I haven’t finished it yet, but so far I love it! Kevin Carter seems really nice, and I don’t see why Jude doesn’t give him a chance! (Remember I’ve not finished it, so I don’t know if she does!)
i think sundae girl was realy amazing i read it in two and a half hours. cathy you are an AMAZING author!!!!
i Love Sundae Girl! It’s
funny, sad and opens your eyes. I couldn’t help bursting out laughing at times and my mum had to come into my room in the middle of the night to ask why I was laughing so much! The alchool issue made me realize people don’t just drink for the sake of it. They have problems behind it. At the end, though, when Jude’s gran died, I felt like crying! But it’s a real good book, so keep it up, Cathy! xxx
