sundae girl is emotional, funny, roantic, sad and sooo much more in just a few pages!! it’s so realistic and i can feel her pain when her mum is drinking alcohol when she says she’s not. i cant relate to what jude is going through but i can fell her pain, happieness, and various emotions all through the story. it is one of the best written books i’ve ever read and i LOVE it!!!!!!!
I loved this book. It is so good. When you read you feel like you are their, witnessing Jude’s pain. My fave character is Jude’s grandma. She was very funny and i was so sad when she died. Cathy you are a brilliant author!
This story is the best book I’ve read.
It’s so good I honestly wanted to be Jude at the time (exept from at parents evening of course!).I love all the characters in it so Cathy you should be well proud because you wrote a geat story!
i have read the first few pages of this book at my friends house and she had to ‘un glue’ the book from my hands, unfortunatley i did not get to finish it but the next time i go to her house she will probably hide it!
I really loved this book! I wanted it 2 never end! If ur not a book worm n dont really like reading it s really gd cause its not to confusing and hard! I would say that 9-13 should read this book! xox
I loved your Book it was sooo great with a bit of romance and sadness its really cute and i understood it coz’ my family is embarassing aswell only my mum doesnt drink..but i loved this book i couldnt put it down!!! your one of my fave authors.
I really liked Sundae Girl. My fave charther was Jude. Har family are just so strange which are loved!!!!. I also liked the idea of Carter. For people who haven’t read the book this is what it is about Jude has a crazy family. Her dad thinks hes Elvis which is funny. Jude gets up to lots of strange and fun things in this book. She also has a admirer from shcool called Kevin Carter. This book was fab!!!!!. Everyone should read it!.
Hey Cassie, I got Sundae girl for Christmas, it`s the first book I`ve read of yours, and I thought it was……. FABULOUS!!!! I read it in one day and I couldn`t put it down! My fave character is Carter, he seems so funny and clumsy, though I really loved Jude as well. I`m aiming to read your whole collection of books, that one was BRILL. 10 out of 10! I want to be an author and you have inspired me even more. Keep writing please!
I’m reading this 4 the like 3rd time and i never get sick of it.I’ve been hooked on C athy Casidy books since I got Dizzy with my fave magazine. I’ve got them all exepet Lucky Star wich I’m going to beg my mum to go to every book store untill I find it.
In Sundae Girl, Jude’s mum is an alcoholic, her nan has a diesase that makes her forget who she is and who people around her are and it seems to me that Jude and her grandad are the only people who are normal!!!
I really like this book because it is something that is happening in real life and I think that it really highlights the causes and effects of problems like this.
I have read Sundae Girl, Driftwood, Indigo Blue and Scarlett. I just need to read Lucky Star and Dizzy. I can’t wait to find them and read them!!!
