Sundae Girl

Will shy girl Jude ever share her secrets?

‘Don’t get me wrong, I love my family – but mum is forty-four going on fourteen . . .’

Jude’s family are crazy, quirky, bizarre . . . her mum brings her plenty of problems and her dad thinks he’s Elvis! All she wants is a hassle-free life – but it’s not easy when she’s chasing her mum’s trail of broken promises.

Nothing seems to go Jude’s way, until she realizes the floppy-haired boy from school could be her knight on shining rollerblades. And that sometimes, when everything turns sour, only something sweet can make it ok . . .

  5. I LOVED this book sooooo much. My gave part was the wedding but I feel sorry for Jude coz she has alot of troubles with her family such as her mums drinking problem her nan’s illness. She describes her feelings so well that I feel like I’m in the story. I felt like crying when her nan dies coz she has loads of really nice memories of her. The words I would use to describe this book are amazing, sad, discriptive. Keep going CC your amazing!!

  10. My new favourite book, I was gripped from start to finish. It’s one of those amazing books that digs you in so deep it feels as if your actually there, watching the scene happening. It was brilliant! Kevin Carter was so funny, Gran was so sweet, I loved every part of it. Keep writing more amazing books!
