Summer has always dreamed of dancing, and when a place at ballet school comes up, she wants it so badly it hurts.
Middle school ends and the holidays begin, but unlike her sisters, Summer has no time for lazy days and sunny beach parties. The audition becomes her obsession, and things start spiralling out of control . . .
The more Summer tries to find perfection, the more lost she becomes. Will she realise – with the help of the boy who wants more than friendship – that dreams come in all shapes and sizes?

OMG. I love this book so much but sometimes, Summer thinks of that voice in her head, not knowing it’s her.
When i was reading this book a read chapter after chapter, I couldn’t put it down. the drama ,romance and the friendship kept me reading more and more.
I’m but this book was mush easier to read then most it really helped me. I shared this book with my classmates they line up to read it, and they all enjoyed it too. I’m going to beg my parents to get me more of these amazing books.

I love Summer’s dream as I can relate to it. I am a dancer and I also fell into the mental illness of anorexia. I am still a lot better but summer’s dream helped me so much and I think that its defiantly the best book in the series.
Read this when I was about 8, still my favourite book now, have read it over 10 times. It sits so deeply with me every time I read it. As soon as I open the pages, I am in tanglewood, in Summers world. I can relate so deeply with a number of the characters in this book, especially Summer. This book is so beautiful and has inspired me to do many things. Thank you so very much. xxx
Summers dream is my favourite book ever, I love to dance and this book has inspired me to take on ballet classes and be a stronger dancer all together. Such an amazing book xxxx

I really liked this book. I’m always nagging my mum to buy me the whole Chocolate Box Girls set, though I’ve only got CHERRY CRUSH, MARSHMALLOW SKYE and SUMMER’S DREAM. I’m really exciting for LOVE FROM LEXIE, too.
Before my friend lent me this book, my reading world was only Goosebumps and Hardy Boys. I hated others who said there was a bigger world out there…but I took my chances with this book and I swear it was magical!!!!
