Summer has always dreamed of dancing, and when a place at ballet school comes up, she wants it so badly it hurts.
Middle school ends and the holidays begin, but unlike her sisters, Summer has no time for lazy days and sunny beach parties. The audition becomes her obsession, and things start spiralling out of control . . .

Summers Dream is my fave Cc book! If you are wondering to get it or not you deffo should! Would especially appeal to Jacqueline Wilson, Louise Rennison and Rachel Rene Russel fans. The book is kind of emotional but funny at the same time.
My mom is buying me this book in three short days. I can’t wait especially based on all of the reviews. Reading is my own way of escaping all of my health problems, so thank you Cathy Cassidy for writing books. Can’t wait to start reading them.

I have read this book and thought it pretty sad. I nearly cried my eyes out when she fainted into the fire! Love Cathy Cassidy. I’ve read Summer’s dream, sweet honey and bitter sweet which of all, I looooove!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I love these books so much, I have read every single book you have created Cathy! From the chocolate box girls, to cat and mouse, and I love them all!!!! I am like every chocolate box sister. I am a lot like the Skye in this book with vintage, and I love marshmallows especially toasted. 😉 I am like summer, I am a dancer too and I get caught up on my weight so I understand how stressful it can be and it made me aware of anorexia so thank you Cathy!!!’ I am like honey, I totally go rebel sometimes, but I really just need help, and I am like coco with my love of animals
