I love this book ever so much! I love ballet,just as much as Summer probably does.I love this book.I have read it twice and would love to read it again and again.Summer is my first favourite character in The Chocolate Box Girls series.I love this series and love them most in Cathy’s books and wish The Chocolate Box Girls series would never end.I love this book and I would recommend this book to my friends and other people to read (and also the other series), because I think that Cathy writes with deep feeling and emotion and insight towards each character.

I read this book and to be honest I was slightly disappointed. Summer’s dream doesn’t come true. She becomes anorexic and may not be able to go to ballet school after they found out she was anorexic. I loved the story at the beginning but the ending isn’t a happy one. Although u haven’t read the other chocolate box girl’s stories so I hope if I read them then summer’s dream will come true.
I wanna buy all the Cathy Cassidy books! Espiecially Moon and Stars and Summer’s Dream and Lucky Star. My all time fav characters are Jamie Finch, Skye, Mouse, and Dizzy. My most fav book is Dizzy. I want to buy Moon and Stars and Summer’s dream becase of Finch and Skye. And i also want to buy Lucky Star because it’s the future of Mouse.

Right so this is going to be a REALLY long comment. So ever since I read this book I have loved dance even more. I have danced my whole life and this book made me love it even more. I have quite a lot of confidence issues and I am a bit like summer in what she is going through in her life. This book is soo emotional and its easy to relate with Summer. So basically, beware spoiler, this book is about a girl who has had a dream to be a ballet dancer and when she gets an audition for a ballet school she is determined to get a place. She tries hard and pushes herself but is still not perfect. She stops eating to try and become lighter and cleaner. In the end she faints in a fire,ends up in hospital and has an illness called aneroxia.she doesn’t get the spot in the end. Could you possibly write another book for each girl again because I really want to know how summer is coping and how things are from her point of view. Best book in series!
