Summer’s Dream

SUMMER is quiet, confident, pretty, popular and VERY serious about dance . . .

Summer has always dreamed of dancing, and when a place at ballet school comes up, she wants it so badly it hurts.

Middle school ends and the holidays begin, but unlike her sisters, Summer has no time for lazy days and sunny beach parties. The audition becomes her obsession, and things start spiralling out of control . . .

The more Summer tries to find perfection, the more lost she becomes. Will she realise – with the help of the boy who wants more than friendship – that dreams come in all shapes and sizes?

  2. I’ve read this book five times and I can’t get enough of it. I would live to see a part 2 to see what happens between Summer and Alfie, and how Summer gets on with her future. Love you so much.

  4. I really enjoyed this book. Summer will let nothing get in the way of her dream, but that’s the problem. Aaron makes things worse. I like seeing Alfie as a friend rather than just a clown. Cathy is an excellent writer and she was the best author to write a book like this. Thank you Cathy for writing this book.

  5. I felt Cathy really made the subject of Anorexia so comfortable and easy to understand i myself went through it when i was about 13 and it was so hard. Reading Summer’s dream kinda made me feel like someone understood how i felt during those dark times.

  7. Summer’s Dream is a beautiful story that is very real and important to share. It helped me understand my own experience with anorexia and I hope it helps someone struggling with this as well. I found it hard to read and was very emotional but I am very glad I read it. Thank you Cathy Cassidy, keep writing beautiful books!! xoxox

In the middle of re-reading this book again! I ADORE the series <3! Surely I'm not the only person who's read the series around 6 times as they can't get enough of it 🙂 I love all the girls especially Honey's personality and Skye's curiosity. Cathy writes so well it sometimes feels like your watching the story and not reading it!! Summer's dream and Sweet Honey are my fav's but I obviously love them all! Love your books sooooooooooooooooooooooo much!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!#Sherry #Sinch #Salfie #Loco #Hash #CathyCassidy
