‘I’ll be different, I won’t break the rules . . . I promise’
Scarlett has got herself in trouble so often; her Mum’s no longer believes her promises. Sent off to stay with Dad, the message is behave or else!
Can Scarlett mend her ways or will she die of boredom? Perhaps gorgeous and mysterious local boy Kian can supply some of the answers . . .
The first book I read from you, been a fan since, I showed my friends your books now they love them too!
I’ve read this book 20 times and I still love reading it I’m addictive to this book. I love love love it! X
This is the first Cathy Cassidy book I read…and as soon as I read the first page I was spellbound! I read this over and over and over again, and I NEVER get bored. I love all the beautiful details and description…and I’m starting to think I might right a book about Holly, Scarlett’s stepsister! Ireland seems amazing, and I recommend a film to Cathy to give her more inspiration! It’s called ‘Song of the Sea’, and I love it with all my heart, as I do with Cathy and her books! Song of the Sea is set in Ireland as well! From Betty, age 10 as I write this! xxx
I am spellbound. This is the first book I read that was a Cathy Cassidy book. I love the fact that it is set in Ireland. To me, Ireland is magical, filled with legends that just might be true. It’s filled with Selkies, Leprechauns, and mysterious children that can turn into wolves. What made Ireland one of my fave countries is Cathy Cassidy and her books, and this amazing film, Song Of The Sea. I definitely recommend it. It’s about something magical, set in Ireland, but I’m not going to say anymore. I LOVE you Cathy Cassidy!
From Betty, aged 10

Scarlett is one of my favourite books by Cathy Cassidy and has inspired me to write stories like her for fun. The stories she has written make me feel like I’m the main character. It is soooooooo breath taking!!! I hope that everyone else sees it in a way I do!!!!
I love this book so much and it made me cry near the end this was my first book by this author but I love it and am reading a different one now called angel cake but i don’t think there is a sequel and that’s so annoying because I’m so intrigued on the ending but it’s an amazing book and will read it over and over again
I don’t get the ending of the book, did kian track her down to london? I’m confused.
