We are looking for 3 ultimate CC fans in England, Scotland and Wales, and 4 in Ireland and Northern Ireland (one from each province) to join Cathy Cassidy's Dream Team, and it could be YOU!

What is Cathy Cassidy's Dream Team?

The Dream Team are Cathy's ultimate superfans who do amazing work to get even more people reading CC's books. As thanks, this team of fans regularly receive some really cool special stuff. They are Cathy Cassidy's ambassadors spreading the word about Cathy and her books to EVERYONE!

What do the Dream Team members get?

All members will get:

• Advance copies of Cathy's new book
• Sneak peeks of new books Cathy is working on
• A special personal section on Cathy's website
• A behind-the-scenes look into Cathy and her books that no-one else can get

Am I suitable to enter?

Before you enter, just make sure that you:

• Live in the UK or Ireland
• Are aged between 11 and 15
• Are a HUGE Cathy Cassidy fan, in fact the BIGGEST Cathy Cassidy fan
• Would really make the most of being a Dream Team member
• Have the permission of your parent/guardian

1. No purchase necessary to enter the competition.
2. This competition is open to UK and Ireland residents aged 11-15, with the exception of employees of the Promoter, their families, agents and anyone else connected with this promotion. All entries must be accompanied by written permission from a parent/guardian.
3. Entries must be received by midnight on 31st May 2011. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any entries that are incomplete, illegible, corrupted or fail to reach the Promoter by the relevant closing date for any reason. Proof of posting or sending is not proof of receipt. Entries via agents or third parties are invalid. Entries become the property of the Promoter and are not returned.
4. Only one entry per person. No entrant may win more than one prize.
5. To enter tell us in no more than 50 words how you would spread the word about Cathy Cassidy. Then upload your entry and fill in your details via the online form found at www.cathycassidy.com
6. All correctly completed entries will be forwarded to a judging panel made up of Puffin Marketing employees and Cathy Cassidy. The judging panel will select 7 winners; 3 from entrants living in England, Scotland and Wales and 1 from each of the 4 Irish provinces of Ulster, Munster, Leinster and Connacht. The winners will be the entries that in the opinion of the judges describe the best and most convincing way of spreading the word about Cathy Cassidy and her books.
7. The prize for each of the winners is to become a member of Cathy Cassidy's Dream Team.
8. In these terms and conditions, the winners will be deemed to be members of Cathy Cassidy's Dream Team ("the Dream Team"). Each member agrees to the following rules of membership: (a) You must get the permission of your parent or guardian to be a member of the Dream Team; (b) You agree to act as an ambassador for Cathy Cassidy and/or her books; (c) You agree that where possible you will participate in any events, promotions and activities relating to Cathy Cassidy and/or her books which may reasonably be organised by the Promoter from time to time; (c) You acknowledge that membership is only valid for those members under the age of 16 years. Your membership will end once you reach the age of 16 years. The Promoter reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to recruit a new member to replace your membership once you reach the age of 16 years; and (d) You acknowledge that the Promoter reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to withdraw or cancel your membership at any time if you do not comply with these rules of membership. Members of the Dream Team will receive copies of books early, be invited to special events and get access to Cathy Cassidy and the book publishing process.
9. Prizes are subject to availability. In the event of unforeseen circumstances, the Promoter reserves the right (a) to substitute alternative prizes of equivalent or greater value and (b) in exceptional circumstances to amend or foreclose the promotion without notice. No correspondence will be entered into.
10. The winners will be notified via email or post by 15 June 2011. The winners must claim their prize within 14 working days of the Promoter sending notification. If the prize is unclaimed after this time, it will lapse and the Promoter reserves the right to offer the unclaimed prize to a substitute winner selected in accordance with these rules.
11. By entering this competition each entrant confirms that his/her entry is their wholly-owned creation and to the extent that such entry makes use of any third party materials that these have been fully cleared unless they are no longer protected by copyright or other intellectual property rights. Entrants will keep the Promoter harmless from any claims in relation to their entry that the entry infringes the personal or proprietary right of any other person. By submitting an entry, each entrant (or their parent/guardian on their behalf) grants to the Promoter a perpetual, royalty-free, non-exclusive licence to edit, publish, translate, modify, adapt, make available and distribute the entry throughout the world in any media now known or hereafter invented. Each entrant (or their parent/guardian on their behalf) undertakes to complete any necessary documentation to formalise the licence. If you do not want to grant us these rights, please do not submit materials to us.
12. To obtain details of the winners please email puffin@penguin.co.uk stating the name of the competition in the subject heading 4 weeks after the closing date.
13. The Promoter will use any data submitted by entrants only for the purposes of running the competition, unless otherwise stated in the entry details. By entering this competition, all entrants consent to the use of their personal data by the Promoter for the purposes of the administration of this competition and any other purposes to which the entrant has consented.
14. The winners agree to take part in reasonable post event publicity and to the use of their names and photographs in such publicity.
15. By entering the competition each entrant agrees to be bound by these terms and conditions and the rules of membership set out in Clause 8 above.
